Center Finders & Scribes
Find the exact center of a board edge, a round dowel or a turning blank without measuring twice. Centerline gauges mark the middle of any width, and parallel scribes draw a line a set distance from an edge.
How does a centerline gauge work?
Two pins straddle the board and the marker sits halfway between them, so it always marks the center.
Can I find the center of a round blank?
Yes, a round bar center finder marks two crossing lines that meet at the center.
What warranty and returns do I get?
Every tool ships free in the US with a 12-month warranty and 30-day returns.
Buying guide
How to mark accurately
Accuracy starts at layout. A mark that's off by a pencil width grows into a gap at glue-up.
Engraved scales and pencil guide holes let you draw parallel lines and repeat measurements without a second tool.
Use a knife line
A marking knife or wheel gauge leaves a finer line than a pencil.
Reference one edge
Measure every part from the same reference face.
Check your square
Flip the square and draw two lines; they should overlap.
